It's Been Awhile...

...Since a book has captured me like this one.


It is different, but different in a good way. It is much more imaginative and out there than books I am used too but it really has pulled me in, so far.

I'm wondering if any of you have read it or are reading it or have even heard of it?

I'm just over halfway through and it's making me think...what about you?

I LOVED LOVED LOVED that book. I have to remember it is is fiction, and some things I didn't think lined up exactly with the bible. It really got me thinking and I was thankful because I felt like it gave me a better understanding of God's take on things.

J just bought it to jump on the bandwagon, so I'll read it eventually. Should be interesting to hear my husband's take on it, as he dislikes fiction making it into churches, as The Shack has. (Much like the Left Behind series and The DaVinci Code did.)

My mom just finished reading this, and now we have it! K is reading it first since I am reading another book, and then it's my turn! We'll have to talk about it once I'm done!!

Hey Samara! I absolutely loved the book too - Partly, I just really appreciated a new way to approach the subject, and just consider things differently than I had before. We bought the audio version, and it was just fantastic - b/c I was able to do work in the kitchen or something, but able to get through it pretty quickly! Just in case you don't have two minutes to sit and read too often!

Hi Samara, this is Debbie's Mom. Had to leave a comment on The Shack. Great book!! Different, yes, but the message it sends is wonderful. I love a book that makes you think and this one definately does that.
