The Mommy Hook Giveaway.

Before I became a mom I had no idea the wonderful inventions out there to help make life easier.

One of those inventions I recently discovered is The Mommy Hook by Mom, Dad and Baby.

I'd seen these hooks before in passing but wasn't sure how they worked until they sent me one to try out myself.

They look like a giant caribiner clip that can hold anything and everything.

I love it.

I clip it on the cart at the store and it can hold my diaper bag or purse or anything else I'm travelling with that day. Use it at the mall on the stroller to hold shopping bags.

Keeps my hands free and I'm not trying to shove bags and things elsewhere.

I, like most moms I know, am always looking for new ideas and inventions out there meant to make life easier. And even the ridiculous ones that seem like a waste of money.

So...what are some of the best mom inventions that you've found? Please share.

Leave a comment between now and Saturday.

One lucky commenter will get their very own Mommy Hook.

Best mom invention anywhere?

Wait for it.

Wait for it.

Babysitters.

I would be a totally different parent if I didn't have time to get out alone or out alone with my husband to recharge our batteries so to speak.

Oh, and the diaper clutch is a pretty fantastic idea too.

And, I was totally admiring your Mommy Hook at the park last week.

A friend of mine is just having her first baby and she got a nuk that has this little cover that shut when you dropped it..pretty neat..

My personal favorite is the snack trap..that little ones can dig in to get crackers or whatever but it has a little cover on it so you can't just dump it out all over everything. Just got myself some of those!!

I think the best invention I have run across for a mom with small babies is the "binky bag!"
It is a little bag that holds a babies pacifier that you can attach to your childs car seat, stroller or even your purse.
I got one when I had my first baby and have loved them ever since! I have never liked the little clippy things you can hook to a baby (don't ask me why) so the binky bag is one of my favorite ideas. That way I always have a back up Nuk!
So you know what I am talking about, you can check out this link.

Of course this is not where I got mine... but these are super cute. You can find a ton more on Etsy that are priced a little cheaper, this one was just my fav!
I am interested in this Mommy Hook though... definately another great invention for mom's on the go.

My favorite thing when the kids were a bit smaller were the disposable bibs by Pampers. For some reason I would use bibs (like at a restaurant or friend's house), stuff them back into the diaper bag, and then forget about them when I got home. Needless to say, we lost a few bibs due to yucky stains and once mold (gross!!). So, the disposable bibs were fairly cheap, thin for carrying, and I didn't have to worry about ruining any more handmade bibs.

I'm not sure this is a mommy invention, but I am guessing that it is! After having my purse digital camera fixed once, it broke for the 3rd time (3 year old hands in the lens cover, 18 mos hands tossed it down the stairs!). So our new little digital is "shock" proof(can be dropped from 10 ft.) and waterproof up to 10 ft below the surface! Not that we plan to take underwater pics of the 3 year old and 7 month old, but when the baby drops it in the toilet, I'm not replacing it! Go mommy inventor!
