Who's Reading?

Sometime this month I will celebrate my 2 year blog anniversary. I no longer know exactly what day it is.


(In my quest for data privacy last month I deleted many older posts, I hate when I act so abrubt like that.)

I've given the blog history before, what I was thinking at the time, why I started in the first place, and what's it become for me.


Lately, I've been finding out more and more who's out "there" reading.


From people in my own community who have stumbled across, to people who have gone to Google.


People who have seen things I've published, to people who have known me for years.


People that I went to high school or college with, to people who have found me through mutual friends links.


I am curious, just for curious sake, who's there.


So I'm going to have a contest. Because I am silly like that.

Leave me a comment with your name (first name is just fine) and how long you've been reading, how you found the blog or how you know me.


You'll have until Sunday to leave your comment. I will print out the comments, cut them into slips and draw one. Whichever comment it is wins a $5 gift card for either Caribou Coffee or Starbucks. Your choice and I will even mail it.


The winner would need to email me with their choice and address that day so I can mail it.


How's that for fun, huh? (And cheesy, dorky, silly...I know!)

Oh Samara...I love you! I have been reading your blog since last fall sometime...and I do believe that you found me on here!!!! I love reading about your family and your life...I can't even remember the last time I saw you or even spoke to you but now I just feel like we are still in touch with each other! I really enjoy ready about your day to day life, I can watch the kids grow, This helps me to feel closer to you and the family as I'm so far away.

i have been an avid reader since last year, when julie and megan informed me that there were pictures of you sporting a full-term baby belly and then subsequent pictures of henry! it's been so great catching up with you and getting to know you better through this avenue. a surprise and a blessing. :)

Deb here. Anne told me about your blog when you were pregmant. I think one of the first blogs of yours that I read was when you were decorating H's room with an alphabet theme.

I can't really remember when I first heard about blogs...perhaps about this time last year. So this fall i looked into it and then started my own in hopes of staying connected with people who were not living in the same area. I love reading about all of the Postuma happenings up in north! I have been reading this blog since this winter. One day while laid up in bed with influenza, I brought my laptop with me to do some reading up on this years strain. StarTribune.com is where I started with an article, leading to commentary from other readers, leading to a poster named Samara. Thought to myslef, hmmmmm I know someone named Samara, clicked the link, and ended up here. The rest is history. :)

Well I've finally checked you out. I guess I've only know about it for a week or so but...your blog inspires me. I used to love creative writing and I think everyone has something interesting to say.
