Conversations With My Two Year Old.

"H, should we go get donuts* before daddy and T and M wake up?" I whispered this morning.

"Yeah!" He giggled and smiled and then just had to add, "Mama, you're my friend."

If donuts are all it takes, I'm in good shape. For whatever reason I don't think it will stay that easy forever.

*Yes I am fully aware that I spend a lot of time talking about donuts these days. I have no excuse, I just really like donuts lately.

A few weeks ago I asked Nicholas what he would buy if he had a million dollars. His response, after some thought, "Donuts." There is nothing wrong with that.
