One More Day In Paradise.

Someday, once we're settled at home, I'll re-cap our trip from Minnesota to Indiana to Pennsylvania to DC and finally, Virginia. Because I've got so many pictures and stories and ideas to share that we learned taking our family across the country.

For now, here's a few pictures from some of our time in Virginia. (But like I said, there is much more than this.)

The bigs and J got home Friday night and the littles and I will be spending some of tomorrow at a nearby waterpark, hopefully one last stop at the oceanfront and we'll fly home Wednesday.

We've had such a fantastic vacation. Spending all our days in paradise.

Well the kind of paradise with over-tired kids some days.

We've done and seen so much and had an absolute blast but it's true we're also ready to sleep in our own beds. Get back into routine and even see our friends. We'll only be home ten days before we head up to Brainerd for a week with family so I am seeing our summer days dwindling and the start of school is on the horizon.

I committed another one of those "I will never do that..." things this weekend as I went and bought one of those harness backpack-y things for H at the airport.

I can't tell you how many times I've knocked those or made a point to question why on earth people would be walking around with their kids on "leashes". But sure enough, I am now, one of them.

We should provide much entertainment Wednesday morning as we zigzag the country from Virginia to Baltimore to St. Louis to Minneapolis.

Why, yes, I booked our tickets and the fact that there were two stops didn't seem all that daunting then but like I said, it should be quite entertaining.

For outsiders.
