Through A Childs' Eyes.

Like I mentioned before, T and M received camera's from their mom as early Christmas presents last December.

Recently I plugged T's camera into the computer and was amazed at the pictures that popped up from a time period that is still sometimes hazy in my own mind. These were the days of my mother's visitation and funeral and when I look at these I am amazed at a child's perspective.

Maybe I'm the only one who can see it, but what I see is foggy and fuzzy emotion.

I think kids see things through such a different lens than we do; it was obvious that T felt that fuzzy emotion, or at least that it came out in his pictures.

That last picture is my favorite. Sometimes I think I am viewing the cross through a fuzzy lens. There is so much I don't know and understand.

Someday we will too, but right now, our mothers are seeing that cross with absolute clarity.

Thinking of you today as you visually reflect on that time in your life.

Wow! I have to say that T takes some great pictures and emotion is definitely apparent in them. I too enjoy the different perspective when I look at pictures that the kids take. The cross picture is absolutely beautiful and probably my favorite, and while I enjoyed all of them the picture of the tree definitely brought a smile to my face. That was the same picture that T took with my camera the day of your parent's wedding. I'll still have it and will have to pass it along to you.

I've been popping by your page quite often after stumbling on it a couple weeks ago. I had to comment on this post.

I love pictures like this...thru the eyes of a child. My soon-to-be-stepson loves taking pics with our camera and it's always amazing what turns out from them. Some of my favorite pictures and memories are capture by him, at 4 years old! You get a very different perspective from their view.

Just wanted to say I loved this post!
