728 Days Old.

Today I laid E down after a book and a song and a prayer and just one more rock.*

"Rock" she says every. single. day. at naptime and bedtime even after she's had a rock.

And I oblige.

And I know I'm spoiling her and creating this {bad?} habit.

But it's pretty much the cutest request you could ever hear.

And today, wonder of all wonders, someone must have given her the memo that my to-do list was overflowing and that there was no time to spare.

Because she sang. And she talked. And she cried. More singing. More talking. More crying.

I quickly got through the things that had to be done and when I looked at the clock and knew that at that point I'd have to wake her in 40 minutes to get H from school, I might as well let naptime be over.

I captured her on camera.

It's 10pm now and some of that to-do list got crossed off by now, some didn't, but it's ok, most of that can wait. Today was a day that this girl couldn't.

*Rock means rock in the rocking chair.
