Marriage.

Every marriage is a work in progress, whether you've been married a year or thirty. And we are no exception. We have bad days and even mess up some days but no matter, we are committed to each other forever.

Yesterday (November 18) marked eight years since two strangers met in a coffee shop and we are still learning as we go.

But these are a few things that work for us, so take this as my marriage advice...

Never stop dating your spouse. {We love date nights!}

Always go to bed together. {We do every. single. night. I think there have maybe been less than a handful of nights we haven't gone to bed together and I think those are when one of us has been sick!}

And sometimes, just sometimes, come up with a grand surprise for your spouse that knocks their socks off.

We're going on a cruise.
In January.
To the Bahamas.

Happy 8 years of living life together, J! {Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary too! We don't usually do gifts between us up this big!}
